Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Petrochemicals Complex of Bina Refinery will change the fate and picture of Sagar along with Guna, Vidisha and Ashok Nagar and other nearby districts. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that necessary preparations should be finalized for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visit to Madhya Pradesh on September 14. Drinking water and other necessary arrangements should be made including convenient seating arrangements for the citizens at the event venue. Sanitation and necessary beautification work should also be done in the venue premises including Bina Nagar.

In the meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence (Samatva Bhawan), Chief Minister Shri Chouhan received details of the preparations being made for the arrival of Prime Minister Shri Modi in Bina of Sagar district on September 14 and gave necessary instructions to the Commissioner and Collector Sagar.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the arrival of Prime Minister Shri Modi for the bhoomi pujan of the Petrochemicals Complex project of the refinery in Bina in Sagar district is an important event. This day will be important for Madhya Pradesh from investment point of view. Investment of about Rs 2 lakh crore is coming in Bina. This includes investment of Rs 50 thousand crore only in Bina Refinery. The Chief Minister said that such a huge investment has not come before at any one place. Direct and indirect employment opportunities will be created for about 3 lakh persons. Cooperation Minister and Minister in-charge of Sagar district, Shri Arvind Singh Bhadauria, besides senior officials were present in the meeting. The Chief Secretary also joined the meeting virtually.
