According to authorities, a grenade burst happened at the gate of the Army cantonment here on Monday, prompting a border district alert.
According to them, no one was injured in the bomb that occurred on
sunday night.
The grenade was thrown in front of the Triveni Dwar of the military area near Dheerapul, police said, adding that they were checking CCTV video of the area.
Surendra Lamba, Pathankot Senior Superintendent of Police, informed PTI that the CCTV video is being examined.
A forensic team has gathered samples and some components of the hand grenade have been found from the scene, according to the SSP.
Following the bombing, the district was put on high alert, and cars were examined at several locations in and around Pathankot.
