Los Angeles: Heavy metal band Pantera’s drummer and prime supporter Vinnie Paul is dead, the gathering declared on Facebook.
The Texas-conceived artist passed on at age 54 on Friday evening, yet no reason for death has been given, reports The Guardian.
Paul shaped Pantera in 1981 with his sibling “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott and went ahead to acquire four Grammy assignments and a No 1 collection in the US in 1994.
Pantera disbanded in 2003 after reports of a fracture in the gathering and its artist’s aim to take off.
In an announcement on Pantera’s Facebook page, the gathering stated: “Vincent Paul Abbott otherwise known as Vinnie Paul has passed away. Paul is best referred to for his work as the drummer in the groups Pantera and Hellyeah.
