Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Lord Shri Krishna had said that I will keep taking birth again and again to protect religion and destroy the wicked. India is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Our Sanatan culture is thousands of years old. Sanatan culture will show the way to the world.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Krishna Janmashtami festival organized at his residence.
Chief Minister Chouhan and his wife Sadhna Singh Chouhan warmly welcomed the devotees of Krishna who attended the function and congratulated them on the occasion of Krishna Janmotsav. Union Environment and Forest Minister Bhupendra Yadav, MP V.D. Sharma, Hitanand Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai and a large number of citizens were present. The programme started with worship of Lord Krishna on the stage.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Modi is working on the basic mantra of Vasudhev Kutumbakam. I pray to Lord Krishna for everyone’s happiness and everyone should be healthy, he said that Lord Shri Krishna had said that do your work, do not desire the result.
Artists from Vrindavan presented Brijvandana, devotional songs, bhajans and dances with melodious music in the Chief Minister’s residence complex.
On this occasion, a group of singers and dancers presented many hymns in praise of Lord Krishna.
Chief Minister Chouhan also sang hymns on this occasion.
The present devotees kept listening to the bhajans till late night. Popular bhajans sung for Lord Shri Krishna, Badi Deer Bhai Nandlala… Nand Ke Anand Bhayo Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki, Hathi Ghoda Palki Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki… and other bhajans kept resonating in the Chief Minister’s residence.
