The ‘One Station One Product’ scheme stalls are set up at 33 stations of West Central Railway comprising three divisions Jabalpur, Bhopal divisions in Madhya Pradesh and Kota division in Rajasthan.
It is noteworthy that under one station one product scheme has been implemented at railway stations to promote local products and trade.
As per the instructions of the Railway Board, the National Institute of Design (NID) stalls are being set up at railway stations, under “One Station One Product” scheme across the country.
NID design stalls of one station one product were set up at 12 railway stations of Jabalpur division including Jabalpur, Jabalpur-Madan Mahal, Katni, Katni-Mudwara, Maihar, Satna, Rewa, Damoh, Sagar, Narsinghpur, Gadarwara and Pipariya stations.
Similarly 10 railway stations of Bhopal division where stalls are set up including Bhopal, Bhopal-Rani Kamlapati, Hoshangabad, Itarsi, Harda, Vidisha, Ganjbasoda, Bina, Ashok Nagar and Guna stations.
Eleven railway stations of Kota Division where stalls are set up including Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Ramganjmandi, Hindaun City, Bharatpur, Bayana, Bhawani Mandi, Jhalawar City, Dakaniya Talav and Sogaria stations.
The objective of this scheme is to promote local products and ancient rare artefacts. Better opportunities are developing for the enterprises associated with this business, and the journey of rail passengers is also becoming unforgettable.
