One of the persons accused of killing three policemen in Aaron forest area of Guna district of Madhya Pradesh was killed during encounter with the police on Tuesday, the police official said.
Chhotu Pathan (30) one of the accused in the case was killed in the encounter, according to the official.
The encounter took place in a forest near Haripura village, the official said.
The accused was asked to surrender but he started firing on the cops team and in the crossfire the accused was killed, he said.
Three cops were killed on May 13 night by the poachers.
On Monday, two other accused, identified as Nisar Khan (70) and his son Shahraj Khan (52), both residents of Bidhoria village, were arrested and a service rifle snatched from the deceased policemen was recovered from them.
After the incident the police launched searches in village Bidhoria where a body of one accused Naushad Khan (35) having bullet shots. Naushad was allegedly killed in retaliatory firing of the cops who went in search of poachers on the night of incident.
Later Shahzad Khan (38) one of the accused in the case was killed in an encounter with police.
