Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every youth in the state will be provided employment according to his qualification.
The employment opportunities will be made available to every youth through government recruitment, self-employment and learn and earn scheme, he said.
Under the Mukhya Mantri Yuva Kaushal Kamai Yojana, youths will be given training in various professions along with an honorarium of Rs. 8,000 per month, he said.
By August 15, the recruitment process for 1 lakh government posts will be completed, he said.
Under the Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, loans and grants ranging from Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh are being made available to the youths for employment, he said.
Today, Rozgar Diwas (Employment Day) is being celebrated in every district of the state and loans are being distributed to the youths for self-employment, he said.
Chouhan participated in the State Level Rozgar Diwas programme in Neemuch today. He distributed loans worth Rs. 2779 crore to 2 lakh 31 thousand 760 youths under various self-employment schemes, he said.
The Chief Minister also dedicated and laid the foundation stone of various development works.
These include the laying of foundation stone of Neemuch’s new medical college and Gandhi Sagar-2 group drinking water supply project and the dedication of new mandi complex Dunglawada Changera.
Chouhan interacted virtually with young entrepreneurs Shri Farooq Khan from Morena, Shri Rohit from Betul, Shri Vivek Soni from Guna and Jitendra Mishra from Satna, who received loans for self-employment under the Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana and obtained information regarding setting-up of employment and also extended his best wishes.
Chouhan said that I see the form of a goddess in every sister, daughter and mother. Our culture says that gods reside there, where women are worshipped, he said.
The respect of women is highest in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Chouhan announced development of Bhadwa Mata Temple and construction of corridor.
He said that there used to be discrimination against women in Madhya Pradesh.
He said earlier, 900 girls were born for every 1000 boys. I took a pledge to put an end to all discrimination against daughters on the land of Madhya Pradesh and that they will be considered a boon. Ladli Laxmi Yojana was launched in the state.
Today, there are 44 lakh 50 thousand Ladli Lakshmis in the state. 956 daughters are being born for every 1000 sons. I will keep making efforts in this direction until 1000 daughters are born on 1000 sons, he said.
The Chief Minister said that the Ladli Bahna Yojana launched in the state is a plan to change the lives of women and the condition of their families.
The forms for the scheme will start filling from March 25. For this, camps will be organised in every village and ward. EKYC for the scheme will be filled at Common Service Centre, Ration Shop and MP Online Kiosk.
No fee will be charged for this. Its fee Rs 15 per application will be filled by the government. A complaint can be registered on 181 if anyone demands money. Strict action will be taken against the concerned. From June 10, money will start coming into the accounts of the women.
Chouhan said that intoxication is a social evil, it should be removed. The government has decided that from April 1, all liquor vends will be closed in the state. Drinking alcohol in public places will be prohibited.
Chouhan said that the damage caused by the recent hailstorm will be adequately compensated by the government. Farmers whose crops have suffered more than 50 percent damage will be given compensation at the rate of Rs 32,000 per hectare, he said.
They will also get the benefit of crop insurance. The government will itself pay the amount of interest of the defaulter farmers and crop loans will be made available to them at zero percent interest, he said.
For this, a provision of Rs 2500 crore has been made in the budget. The date for repayment of crop loan will be extended till March 31, he said.
Chouhan said that a scheme worth Rs 1700 crore has been approved by the government for the area, through which water will be supplied to every house through taps, he said.
Today, the foundation stone of development works worth crores has been laid and dedicated for the Neemuch region. He said that the Neemuch Medical College would be renamed Virendra Kumar Saklecha Medical College.
Similarly, Mandsaur Medical College will be renamed as Sunderlal Patwa Medical College and Ratlam Medical College as Dr. Laxmi Narayan Pandey Medical College, he said.
Chouhan duly launched the programme with kanya pujan. MSME Minister Omprakash Saklecha, MP Sudhir Gupta, MLA Dilip Singh Parihar and Anirudh Madhav Maru also addressed the gathering. Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Tourism and Culture Minister Usha Thakur, public representatives and a large number of citizens were present.
