Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the work of major government projects being implemented in the state should be completed within the prescribed time limit. There should be no compromise in the quality of works. Collectors and concerned department officials should continuously monitor and inspect the projects.
Chief Minister Chouhan gave these instructions in the review meeting of major government projects being implemented in the state at the residence office. Finance Minister Jagdish Deora was also present. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and officers of the districts connected virtually.
Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed various projects under construction of Narmada Valley Development, Public Health Engineering and Urban Development and Housing Department.
The Chief Minister directed to complete the work of Bhikangaon Binjalwada Micro Lift Irrigation Project of Narmada Valley Development Department by May 2023. Chief Minister Chouhan said that for quality work, inspection should also be done from time to time. No compromise with quality. He said that the project should be launched in the last week of May.
While reviewing the Chhipaner Micro Lift Irrigation Project, the Chief Minister said that the project should be completed in the first week of May by working day and night. The quality of works and pipeline should be of high quality.
While reviewing the Narmada Kshipra Multipurpose Project, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the work on the project should be completed by May 2023. He also reviewed ISP Parvati Link Micro Lift Irrigation Project Phase 1 and 2. Officials informed that the work on the project is progressing at a fast pace.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that in the same way the work of Dahi project should also be completed expeditiously. Reviewing the Nagalwadi project, he said that it should be completed by May 2023. He said to ensure adherence to the fixed time limit.
Chief Minister Chouhan instructed to do the work of Ballaur Multi Village Water Supply Scheme of Public Health Engineering Department on priority. He said that providing drinking water to the people is our top priority. Its work should be completed by March 31, 2023, so that people do not face water problems in summer.
Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed the Satna Bansagar Multi Village Water Supply Scheme. He said that this project should make sure to give water in summer. Try to complete the work by March.
Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed the Burhanpur water supply scheme of the Urban Development and Housing Department. He said that the work of this project should be done seriously at the earliest. People should not face any problem due to bad roads.
The work of water supply scheme Municipal Council Bhedaghat, Katangi, Patan, Majhauli Panagar, Sihora and Tendukheda should be completed by January. The work of sewerage project, Jabalpur should also be completed before the rains. The public should not have any problem.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is the duty of the collectors to check the quality by monitoring the projects. If there is a mess, be determined to stop it. The Chief Minister also took information about the works of the projects from the officials of the concerned districts.
