The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) taking cognisance on a complaint of Wildlife activist Ajay Dubey has sought a factual status report from the Chief Wildlife Warden MP Government over death of tigers in Panna and Satna in year 2021.

The NTCA issued the letter on December 7 last in this matter, Wildlife Activist Ajay Dubey said.

The NTCA asked the Chief Wildlife Warden of the state to take urgent necessary action into the matter, he said.

Taking action on a letter of the NTCA after five days, the office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest cum Chief Wildlife Warden (Wildlife) on December 13, 2022 has sought action taken report from the Chief Conservator of Forest (Forest Circle) Chattarpur district sought a report of fair investigation into death of tigers in Panna and Satna.

A tiger died on stuck in a trap in Panna, another tiger carrying satellite collar VHF IDP 234-31 of Panna Tiger Reserve was found dead at Satna, Dubey said.
