Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there will be no shortfall in public welfare and development works in Udaipura area of Raisen district.
Chief Minister Chouhan, while addressing the citizens today after the Bhoomi Pujan of Chinki Barrage and Bauras Barrage project, Bhoomi Pujan of 61 other development works and dedication of 4 works, said that Rs. 2 crore each will be provided for three tehsils of Raisen district, Deori, Udaipura and Bareilly. A new bridge will be built on Narmada River in Udaipura.
Chief Minister Chouhan also announced the opening of college in Deori and making Bareilly Nagar Panchayat a Nagar Palika. With this, SDM office will start in Udaipura. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also distributed benefits to various beneficiaries.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the previous government had deprived the people of development. Now development and public welfare works are being done on the Narmada river in Raisen area. These projects will provide irrigation to area of 3 lakh 26 thousand acres. Today, dedications and foundation stones worth more than six thousand crores were done. The cost of Chinki Barrage and Bauras Barrage project is Rs 5839 crore.
New scheme will supply water through pipeline
Chief Minister Chouhan said that in case of non-availability of water from the canal, it will be possible to supply water to the fields of farmers through pipeline. The production of farmers will increase due to irrigated agriculture. Now it has become easier to deliver water to the high and low lands. The hardships of the citizens are being addressed. Students are being provided facilities like laptop, scooties for education. Now this facility will be given to those who score more than 60 percent marks.
World’s unique scheme in Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is a social revolution. This world’s unique scheme is in Madhya Pradesh. 1.32 crore sisters in the state will now get Rs 1250 every month. Due to this, an amount of Rs 16 thousand crore will be spent every year. The amount of the scheme will be increased as soon as financial arrangements are made. A campaign to change the lives of sisters is going on in the state.
Housing for all
Chief Minister Chouhan said that people left out of housing schemes will be provided the benefits of the new housing scheme. Farmers are being given an amount of Rs 12 thousand every year. The previous government did not give any relief to the farmers. Irrigation revolution will work to change the lives of farmers.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that after seeing the cheerless faces of the farmers, he had prayed to Lord Mahakal. Now copious rainfall is occurring.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that students of government schools appearing for NEET exam for MBBS will be benefitted by giving 5 percent reservation. Arrangements have been made to provide medical and engineering education in the state through Hindi medium. The government will bear the electricity expenses of the poor for using up to one kilowatt of electricity. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government will leave no stone unturned for regional development.
