It was informed that the Bio CNG plant is based on PP model. While the Municipal Corporation of Indore does not have to bear any financial burden on the establishment of this plant, on the other hand, the agency setting-up the plant is giving a certain amount as premium to the Municipal Corporation every year. While on the one hand bio CNG gas is being produced from this plant, on the other hand high quality organic compost food is also available.
The plant is based on zero inert, where no untreated waste is generated. The gas generated from the plant is also being used in public transport buses operated by the Municipal Corporation.
Carbon credits are also being generated from the operation of the plant. Prime Minister Prachanda also reached the dry waste segregation center located in Devguradia itself and saw the process of segregation.
