State governments will be able to purchase Covaxin for 600 rs per dose, while private hospitals will be able to purchase it for 1,200 rs per dose, according to Bharat Biotech, a Hyderabad-based group.

Serum Institute of India, India’s other vaccine manufacturer, will supply Covishield to states for $400 per shot and private hospitals for $600 per injection.
On April 19, the government introduced a “liberalized” scheme, allowing everyone above the age of 18 to get vaccinated beginning May 1. That’s also made it possible for state governments and private hospitals to buy vaccines directly from suppliers.
According to a PTI study, manufacturers of Covid-19 vaccines will be able to sell 50 percent doses to state governments and on the open market, but they will have to make an advance price declaration before 1 May.
On January 16, India launched the Covid vaccination campaign, which included two vaccines: Covishield and Covaxin.
On March 1, the second phase of the coronavirus vaccine program to inoculate people over 60 and others over 45 with comorbidities began. The third process started on April 1st for those above the age of 45.
All above the age of 18 will be able to collect the dose in the next round, which begins on May 1st.
