The Family Man Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video, starring Manoj Bajpayee. Following months of hype, the streaming giant revealed on Tuesday that the trailer for The Family Man 2 would be released on Wednesday.
The Family Man Season 2 will feature south Indian actor Samantha Akkineni, created by Raj and DK. The roles of Manoj Bajpayee, Sharad Kelkar, Priyamani, and Sharib Hashmi will be reprised. As world-class spy Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) struggles to maintain his personal and professional lives in Season 2, he will encounter a new foe in Raji (Samantha Ruth Prabhu). The series also marks the Telugu actor’s first foray into the digital world.
The announcement of the trailer releasing tomorrow was made by not just the OTT platform but also the lead stars. Amazon Prime’s official Twitter handle’s tweet read, “kal kuch aisa hone wala hai jiske baare mein hum soch bhi nahi sakte Exploding head Trailer out tomorrow! #TheFamilyManOnPrime.”
Manoj Bajpayee took to Instagram and wrote, “Our excitement level is 11/10 Yours? #TheFamilyManOnPrime Summer is here, and so is #TheFamilyManOnPrime Trailer out tomorrow.” While Samantha shared the poster and captioned, “We’re ready for you #TheFamilyManOnPrime
In an earlier interview with PTI, filmmakers Raj and DK had shared the experience of chalking out the premise of The Family Man Season 2. “It is a tall order. This is the first time that we are in a sequel kind of territory. We have not done anything like this before. We did this because the world in the show is so exciting. It is interesting yet challenging to match up to the expectations. We had to step it up,” Raj told PTI.
