The Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC) on Tuesday sought a report from the Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) and the Superintendent of Police (Rail) over alleged misbehavior of the autorickshaw drivers with the passengers on the platform number 6 side of main railway station Bhopal.
MPHRC chairman Manohar Mamtani took cognizance on the information in this regard and sought report from the concerned authorities.
The auto rickshaw drivers standing on platform number-6 side of the main railway station of Bhopal city snatch luggage bags from the passengers and also misbehave with them, as per the MPHRC official note.
Due to which the passengers have to face a lot of trouble, it further said.
Especially women passengers feel very uncomfortable with such behavior of the drivers of autorickshaw.
Taking cognizance of this matter, MP Human Rights Commission has sought report from the Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Bhopal and Superintendent of Police (Railways) Bhopal after conducting an inquiry and called for a report within three weeks.
In another incident, the Commission has sought a report from the Commissioner of Police Bhopal over the accused persons threatened to life the family members of a four and half year old girl rape victim.
The incident is of Banskhedi in Kolar area of Bhopal district. There is anger in the entire area due to this incident and the girl’s family members are worried.
Taking cognizance of this matter, the MP Human Rights Commission has called for a report from the Commissioner of Police, Bhopal after conducting an inquiry within two weeks.
