Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan transferred a total amount of Rs. 1209.64 crore into the accounts of 1 crore 25 lakh Ladli Bahnas with a single click under Ladli Bahna Yojana at the state level programme in Jabalpur on June 10.
The eligible women expressed happiness over the amount reaching their bank accounts. The women said that the Ladli Bahna Yojana would empower women financially and boost their self-confidence in the society.
The women benefitted from the scheme expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for announcing that the amount of the scheme would be hiked up to Rs. 3000 in future.
They said that they would use the amount to become financially self-dependent.
While thanking Chief Minister Shri Chouhan for receiving an amount of Rs. 1000 in her bank account, Ladli Bahna Khushbu Solanki of Ward No. 18 of District Headquarters Dhar said that she will use this amount for the education of her children. Mamta Chaudhary and Shaifali Verma, Ladli Banhas of ward number-19, said that they would always remember the day of 10th June. They heartily thanked the Chief Minister for this.
Swati, a resident of Nepa Nagar in Burhanpur district, praised CM Chouhan for the Ladli Bahna Yojana. She said that by getting an amount of Rs. 1000 per month, she would be able to maintain and take care of the family in a better way. She expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister on behalf of all the women of her ward.
After the state level programme of Ladli Bahna Yojana in Vidisha district, all the Ladli Bahnas expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister. Priyanka Verma of village Rangai said that now she will get an amount of Rs.1000 every month as salary. She will spend this amount on essential household works. Smt. Mamta Dubey of village Berkhedi described the historic decision as important in the direction of women empowerment. The District Collector explained the importance of savings to the women regarding the scheme.
Sister Ritu Chouhan, a resident of Bagmugalia of Bhopal city, has gained self-confidence after the implementation of the scheme. She said that now she will not need to ask her husband for money. She will spend this amount on the children. Jyoti Soni of the same area also expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. Now she will be able to use this amount on essential works. Rita Bharti of the same area said that this amount will now become a big support for the family.
