Due to hailstorm, many farmers’ crops have been wasted. While talking to the news agency ANI, the farmers of Bhopal said that due to rain and hail, their entire crop have been destroyed. He had borrowed a huge amount to land this time, now he is worried about how he will return this money. Another farmer said that he had planted wheat and coriander in his 15 acre farm, but due to the hail of the sky, the downfall caused by the sky swept their whole crop. He said that he had taken a loan to grow this crop, after the crops have got destroyed due to rain, he suffered a loss of 60 to 70 thousand rupees.
Farmers say their family was based on the earning of these crops. Now he does not understand what he should do after all, to recover from this great loss. The farmers in Sihor district of the state also have a bad situation. Due to the hailstorm, gram, lentil and wheat crop in more than 80 villages of Raisen has been damaged. According to the report, in nearly 12 districts of the state, 80 thousand hectare crops have been damaged. At the same time, about 500 villages of the state have been affected by the hailstorm.
