Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah visited and offered prayers at the birthplace of Lord Shree Parshuramji at Janapav in Indore district. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, In-charge of Indore district and Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, MP V.D. Sharma, Tourism and Culture Minister Usha Thakur, Dhar MP Chhatar Singh Darbar also visited and offered prayers.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed Shri Amit Shah regarding the construction of the proposed Parshuram Lok. He informed that the development of Shri Parshuram Lok is proposed at a cost of more than Rs 10 crore. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced during his visit to Janapav last month, that the birthplace of Lord Shri Parshuram ji would be developed as a major religious place and a grand Parshuram Lok would be built here.

Prior to this Union Home Minister Amit Shah welcomed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan by presenting him with a bouquet on his arrival at the Indore airport. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat, MP V.D. Sharma, Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani and Kavita Patidar, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, former MLA Rajesh Sonkar and other public representatives also welcomed Shri Amit Shah.
