Jabalpur. MP. Transco (M.P. Power Transmission Company) has commissioned a New 50 MVA additional power transformer at 220 KV substation Pithampur Sector 3 industrial area of Indore. Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that to ensure electricity supply to the industrial units in Pithampur area as per their demand, M.P. Transco (M.P. Power Transmission Company) has succeeded in installing and energizing this additional power transformer at an estimated cost of approximately Rs. 6.4 crores. Now various enterprises in this industrial area will get proper quality power supply. Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar thanked M.P. for this success. Transco personnel have been congratulated.
33 KV from 18 feeders
Electricity supply in industrial area Pithampur
MP. Transco’s Executive Engineer Sh V. P. Shrivastav informed that With the energization of the transformer, the capacity of Pithampur Sector-3 substation has increased to 759 MVA. MP Transco supplies electricity to the industrial area from this important substation of Indore region through its 18 feeders of 33 KV.This is first sub station in MP where 5 no 132 / 33 KV transformers have been installed.
78278 MMVA Total installed capacity of MP Transco
The total installed transformation capacity of MP Transco has now increased to 78278 MVA. In which 400 K.V. side 11095 MVA, 220 KV. Side 32595 M.V.A. and 132 KV side 34588 M.V.A. Capacity exists. MP. Transco transmits electricity through its 415 Extra high tension substations in Madhya Pradesh. In which 14 of 400 KV. 88 of 220 KV. and 313 of 132 KV substations are operational.
