The Prime Minister today performed ground-breaking ceremonies for industrial projects worth nearly 51,000 crores at Bina. These will transform the destiny of Bundelkhand and Madhya Pradesh. Industrial development will receive a new boost. The central government will invest more than 50,000 crores in new projects in Madhya Pradesh. These projects will ensure that dreams of the poor and the middle class are realized. He expressed thank to people for being part of this ceremony.

Prime Minister Modi was addressing a massive community gathering at the foundation-laying ceremony of new industrial projects in the Bina Refinery complex today.

He inaugurated industrial projects worth 51,000 crores, including a petrochemical complex with an investment of 49,000 crores at the Bina Refinery complex and 10 new industrial projects costing 1,800 crores at various locations in Madhya Pradesh.

Renewable energy zone in Narmadapuram, two IT parks in Indore, a mega industrial park in Ratlam, and new industrial centers in six cities – Shajapur, Guna, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Narmadapuram, and Maksi will be developed.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi, along with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Member of Parliament V.D. Sharma, greeted the people from an open jeep before reaching the stage. They also took round of an exhibition showcasing the construction of the petrochemical complex at the event venue.

Chief Minister Chouhan presented Prime Minister Modi with a bouquet and a replica of the Sanchi Stupa.

CM greeted for industrial development

Prime Minister Modi said that the success of the G-20 has elevated India’s status globally, with the name of G-20 now echoing in the voices of children in every village. He credited the success of G-20 not to people of the country, emphasizing it as a result of India’s collective strength. The successful organization of G-20 meetings in Bhopal, Indore, and Khajuraho also played a crucial role, with Madhya Pradesh’s significant contribution, for which he commended Shivraj’s team.

Modi highlighted the importance of India becoming self-reliant during the Amrit Kaal of Independence. He noted that inaugurating a petrochemical unit in this sector will assist India in achieving self-reliance, reducing its dependence on other countries for diesel, petrol, and petrochemical materials. These projects will lead to regional development, the emergence of new industries, and employment opportunities for farmers, small entrepreneurs, and a large number of young people.

Prime Minister Modi emphasized that India is emerging as a global leader, capable of uniting the world, and this ability is rooted in its ancient culture that has connected the country for thousands of years. He acknowledged the contributions of various historical figures and stressed the need to protect this heritage against forces attempting to undermine it.

Modi assured that serving the people is government’s guarantee. He listed various initiatives like providing homes, toilets, free medical treatment, bank account facility for all, gas connections, and reduced gas cylinder prices on Raksha Bandhan. He announced that an sisters would receive free gas connections.

Transformation of Madhya Pradesh: Union Minister Hardeep Singh

Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh, mentioned that India’s transformation began after Prime Minister Modi took charge in 2014. In 2014, only 45% of the country had access to LPG gas connections, but our government made 32 crore gas connections available. As a result of Prime Minister Modi’s efforts, while fuel prices increased in other countries, they decreased in India. There was also a reduction in central excise duty in the states with double-engine governments, and VAT taxes decreased. Minister Shri Puri noted progress in Madhya Pradesh since 2014, with the number of petrol pumps increasing from 2854 to 5938 in 2023. The number of LPG distributors increased from 865 to 1552, and LPG gas connections grew from 70 lakhs to 1.85 crores. He also highlighted the increase in availability of LPG gas, LPG pipeline connections, CNG stations, and natural gas pipelines in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Bina inauguration today marks the advancement of the Bundelkhand region.

PM is working for welfare of all – CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, welcoming Prime Minister Modi, said that the historic success of the G-20 has demonstrated that the Prime Minister Modi in working for the welfare of global citizenry. He also expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for the Chandrayaan mission’s success. Under his leadership, India is advancing towards the Sun as well.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the previous government had neglected Bundelkhand. With the 50,000 crore investment, the destiny of Bundelkhand will change, creating employment opportunities for the youth through projects like the refinery, ethylene cracker complex, and 10 major industrial parks.

He invited Prime Minister Modi for the ground-breaking ceremony of the Ken-Betwa project, which will irrigate 20 lakh acres and transform the lives of Bundelkhand’s people.

Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the residents of the state on Prime Minister Modi’s upcoming birthday on September 17. He emphasized that Prime Minister Modi’s life is dedicated to the welfare of the nation and its people, and he wished the Prime Minister a healthy life.

During the grand foundation laying ceremony of the Petrochemical Complex in the Bina Refinery complex Shri Modi visited the people in an open vehicle. The interaction lasted for about twenty minutes, with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and MP V.D. Sharma accompanying him. The public welcomed Prime Minister Modi with enthusiasm and joy. Prime Minister Modi also acknowledged the greetings of the people. A large crowd was present at the public gathering, and they made way for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vehicle, creating a historic moment that people captured on their mobile phone cameras, making it a memorable moment for those present at the gathering.
