After benefiting the entrepreneurs from the transparent functioning of the Facilitation Council created to settle the disputes regarding pending payments in government offices of micro, small and medium enterprises, many states are implementing it in their states.
A 5-member team from Chhattisgarh state will also come to Bhopal on Friday and will study the rules and regulations of the Council by taking part in the meeting.
Industries Commissioner and Secretary of MSME Department, P. Narahari is the Chairman of this Facilitation Council and it has 2- 2 members each from the government and non-government.
The Council holds two meetings every month.
The cases of pending payments of micro, small and medium enterprises are filed in the Facilitation Council, in which hearing is held on the scheduled date. Neither any application fee nor any fee is charged for the cases.
978 cases have been heard in the 37 meetings of the Council so far. Of these, 637 cases have been resolved and awards amounting to more than Rs 56 crore 24 lakh 88 thousand have also been passed in favor of entrepreneurs. Settlement was reached in a total of 82 cases and the percentage of resolved cases is more than 65.
The Council also gets the payment done in award cases by registering them as revenue recovery cases with the Collector.
Other states have also taken inspiration from the functioning of the Madhya Pradesh Facilitation Council.
After studying the system, parties in big states like Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat have implemented it in their states.
