MP Medical Education Minister, Vishwas Sarang said the teaching three subjects of MBBS course will start in Hindi language from new session starting from September next.
Madhya Pradesh will be the first state to start teaching MBBS course in Hindi language, he said.
The teaching of three subjects of MBBS course will be done in Hindi language are anatomy, physiology and bio-chemistry, he said.
The team of medical college professors has translated the contents of the subjects in Hindi language and the books are in final stage, Sarang said.
The translation of medical terms will not be done, they will remain in English language but will be printed in Devnagri script to facilitate the students to read it, he said.
He said the progress of publication of books is reviewed on daily basis.
The teaching in Hindi language will start from September next with the new batch of students will be admitted, he said.
Over incidents of ragging in medical colleges in Ratlam and Indore, he said ragging is ban and not acceptable and action is being taken accordingly.
