On Tuesday, a heat-wave swept through Rewa, Satna, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Bhopal, Ratlam, Datia, Gwalior, and Guna for the second day in a row. On Wednesday, the weather would most likely be the same. Khargone had the highest temperature in the province, 42.5 degrees Celsius.
After a few days, the heat-wave will subside due to the formation of a low-pressure area over the south-east Bay of Bengal and the surrounding south Andaman Sea. However, this would have no impact on the weather in Madhya Pradesh. The weather system will strengthen over the next 24 hours and may form a depression between March 31 and April 1.
The low pressure is in the early stages of convection, with no convergence and a poorly established cyclonic circulation. However, the system is displaying signs of intensifying over the Bay of Bengal’s favorable seas.
Temperature at Bhopal and Indore
Bhopal recorded 40.2 degrees Celsius as the day temperature after a 0.8 degree Celsius decrease, which was 4.4 degrees Celsius below average, and 20.0 degrees Celsius as the night temperature after a 0.8 degree Celsius increase. Indore observed a day temperature of 38.4 degrees Celsius, a decline of 1.8 degrees Celsius, and a night temperature of 20.6 degrees Celsius, an increase of 0.5 degrees Celsius.
