With a view to promote rural tourism, the cabinet has approved the proposal to give subsidy under the home stay scheme in rural areas.
The decision is very important from the point of view of employment for this Rs. 2.04 crore is allotted to provide subsidy to develop home-stay facilities, MP Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said.
For the promotion of natural farming system in the state, a new ‘Madhya Pradesh Pratikriti Krishi Vikas Yojna’ will be implemented in the entire state for the purpose of giving subsidy to the farmers on rearing a native cow species and starting natural farming in select 100 villages in 52 districts, Mishra said.
The cabinet has approved a proposal of Home Department to give special allowance for the MP Police’s special intelligence branch deployed in Naxal infested areas of Madhya Pradesh and the Hawk Force personnel involved in anti-Naxal operations, he said.
With this decision, the morale of the police personnel posted in the Naxal affected areas of the state will increase and the anti-Naxal operations will be implemented in better manner, he said.
It has been decided to implement Renewable Energy Policy-2021 in place of solar, wind, biomass and small hydro energy based power generation policies implemented earlier in the state, he said.
Now the upcoming renewable energy projects in the state will be developed on the basis of this new policy, Mishra added.
