The Madhya Pradesh Education Department suspends recognition of non-governmental educational institution Ganga-Jamuna Higher Secondary School of Damoh district with immediate effect.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had given instructions to take action accordingly after taking information of the facts after serious complaints regarding the school came to his notice.
In the inspection, the facts related to improper arrangements for the students and not providing necessary facilities to the girls by this non-government school came to the fore, as a result of which action has been taken to suspend the recognition.
The school management has also been found guilty of violating norms of recognition.
