Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan declared increase in maximum age limit by three years for one time in all Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) examinations.
The increase in maximum age limit by three years is done on request of large number of over aged aspirants since the MPPSC had to cancel several examinations due to pandemic, he said.
The request of the aspirants were genuine and justice need be done with them, he said.
Therefore, the maximum age limit is increased by three years for one time so that over aged aspirants get chance to take the examinations to be conducted by the MPPSC in near future, Chouhan added.
MP BJP chief VD Sharma said ‘this decision of the Chief Minister, taken in the interest of the students, is commendable.
Adding he said after this decision, now many youths of the state will be able to make their dreams come true by appearing in the examination.
Due to Corona, the PSC examination could not be held in the state, due to which many youths were not able to participate in the examination due to age limit. In view of this problem of the students, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has increased the maximum age limit of PSC exam by 3 years for one time, Sharma said.
