MP Transco Advance technology implemented for the first time in Chhindwara district
MP. TRANSCO (Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company) has commissioned a 63 MVA power transformer at 220 KV Substation Pandhurna in Chhindwara district. Energy Minister of Madhya Pradesh Pradyuman Singh Tomar told that, Success has been achieved in energizing this transformer installed far away 325 km from Jabalpur, the headquarters of the power company, through the advanced technology of the power sector.This advanced technology implemented first time by MP TRANSCO in chhindwara district. Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that the transmission capacity of Chhindwara district has been strengthened after the energization of this transformer installed at an estimated cost of Rs. 05 crore.
With the installation of this transformer, Pandhurna 220 KV. Substation capacity increased to 103 MVA in 132 KV side. Apart from Pandhurna city, power consumers of Nandwadi, Junwani, Tegaon, Badchichauli, Linga, Rajna and industrial feeder Sven Plastic will be greatly benefited, now they will get quality power supply at proper voltage. He told that In view of increasing load at 220 K.V. substation Pandhurna, , the need for a transformer of higher capacity was felt, in view of which M.P. Transco has installed new 63 MVA Capacity power transformer in the substation in place of the 20 M.V.A. power transformer. For this success, Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar Congratulated to the employees of Transco involve in this installation work.
Transformer energized for the first time in Chhindwara region by remote
MP. Transcon energized this transformer at Pandhurna, , using HMI (Human Machine Interface) technology by clicking the computer mouse at head quarter of power companies 325 km away from Jabalpur . This technique has been used for the first time in Chhindwara district. In this technique, the substation equipment is controlled and operated by a combination of human and computer machines.
Transmission capacity of Chhindwara district increased to 1575 MVA.
. Superintending Engineer of M.P Power Transmission Company Mr.N.S.Lodhi said that with the energization of this transformer, the total transformation capacity of Chhindwara district has increased to 1575 MVA. In which 220 K.V. Side 640 MVA and 132 KV Side 935 MVA installed capacity are available. Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company transmits power in Chhindwara district through its 10 substations, which include. 02 substation of 220 KV and 08 substations of 132 K.V. capacity are operational.
The first Extra High Voltage substation of the district was built in Chandangaon in 1976.
In Chhindwara district the first Extra High Voltage substation of 132 KV voltage label was established on 12.11.1976 at Chandangaon Chhidanwada. Then With the 12.5 MVA power transformer of capacity, power transmission was done in the entire district along with the nearby districts of Narsinghpur and Seoni.
