The voting process for Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2023 was concluded in the state on November 17.
Compared to the last assembly elections held in year 2018, two and a half times more complaints have been received in the state so far in the assembly elections 2023.
In the Assembly elections 2023, 11 thousand 257 complaints of violation of model code of conduct were received from cVigil app, which were resolved promptly.
In the last 2018 assembly elections, 3 thousand 990 complaints of violation of model code of conduct were received through cVigil app.
It may be noted that the Model Code of Conduct is in force in the state from October 9 for Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections-2023.
Meanwhile, the cVigil app was prepared by the Election Commission of India to ensure strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct and also to enable citizens to immediately complain about violations of the Model Code of Conduct.
Since the Model Code of Conduct became effective in the state from October 9, 11 thousand 257 complaints have been received so far, which were resolved promptly.
Citizens can complain through photo or video
Through the C-Vigil app prepared by the Election Commission of India, any citizen can make any complaint of violation of the Model Code of Conduct through photo or video.
