The MP Police special team has arrested main accused in the riots on April 10 last, Ram Navami in Khargone city Sameer Ulla .
Collector Kumar Purushottam has taken action under the National Security Act on basis of a report of Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh.
Superintendent of Police Singh said a reward of Rs 10,000 was announced by the police on Sameer Ulla.
The accused was arrested on Sunday by a special team of police from Khaltaka-Balsumand border of Khargone district.
Accused Sameer Ulla, and his gang have been involved in various criminal activities since the year 2016.
The accused along with his gang is always prepared to cause communal tension.
Taking action under Section 3(2) of the National Security Act 1970, on the basis of the report of the SP, Collector Kumar has issued a detention order to detain the accused Sameer Ulla for three months and keep him in the Central Jail, Indore.
