The State government gave assistance of Rs.4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Fund to relatives of one person who died in the bus accident near village Pakaria in Katni district.
Ashu Kol, a resident of village Khudawal of Jabalpur district, died on Tuesday morning when a bus going from Jabalpur to Shahdol met with an accident at Bhatia turn of Antarveda near village Pakaria in Katni district.
The villagers boarded on the bus was going from Jabalpur to Shahdol to attend the Janjaitya Samagam.
The Katni district administration extended assistance of Rs, 40000 to the deceased and Rs. 15000 each to the injured.
Collector Saurabh Suman and reached the district hospital and met the injured undergoing medical treatment and inquired about their well being. Dr. Saloni Sidana, CEO of Zilla Panchayat was also present with the district collector.
CMHO Dr Sanjay Mishra said out of the injured in the bus accident 12 are being treated in the district hospital. Of these, six have been admitted to the ICU, one to the surgical ward and five injured to the orthopedic ward. While an injured is being treated in the Civil Hospital Sihora itself.
