The MP TRANSCO State Load Despatch Center, Jabalpur has been awarded the prestigious national level, Load Despatch Centre Excellence Award for creation of world-class infrastructure, leading in innovation, developing cyber security model for the first time in the country and recognizing various other parameters.
MP SLDC is declared as the best SLDC in the country after three rounds of competition organized by IIT Delhi, Forum of Load Dispatcher & Grid India and NPSC. The award was received by S.S. Patel, Chief Engineer, SLDC and R.K. Gupta, Superintending Engineer, during the National Power System Conference 2022 held at IIT Delhi.
On this remarkable achievement Energy Minister Praduman Singh Tomar has recognised and congratulated all the personnel of State Load Despatch Center Jabalpur for their dedication and untiring efforts to achieve this award.
Energy minister of Madhya Pradesh Praduman Singh Tomar informed that Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company has received this prestigious award in the power sector after going through a rigorous three-rounds of selection process for the award and also for compliance of the grid norms.
In first phase, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Telangana states were selected on the basis of key performance indices identified by the Selection Committee.
In subsequent rounds, Madhya Pradesh State Load Dispatch Center took a lead and was declared Winner on the basis of excellent Video presentation & exhaustive interaction with the Jury which comprised of eminent experts from IITs , POSOCO (Grid India) and Tata Energy Research Institute.
P. S. Tomar stated that all the State Load Despatch Centers of the country participated in the LDC Excellence Award. Further MP SLDC is selected due to its remarkable achievement in the field of Cyber Security, Innovative Work of integration of energy meters into SCADA/EMS system, maintenance of Disaster Recovery Centre, Islanding Scheme, RE Integration, Grid Operation etc.
