The Madhya Pradesh Police has arrested Amit Sahu alias Pappu accused of killed his wife Sana Khan a BJP activist of Minority Cell, Nagpur, Maharashtra over infight on monetary and other issues, the police officer said.
During interrogation Amit disclosed of killed his wife by hitting her with stick and later dumped her body in river Hiran near village Meregaon of Jabalpur district, according to the police.
The accused was arrested from Gorabazr locality of Jabalpur city.
The accused has revealed name of associate who was with him, the police said.
The accused runs dhaba, the police said.
The Nagpur police registered the case of missing of the woman on August 1 last on basis of the complaint received from the family, later her last location was found in Jabalpur, the police said.
The team of Nagpur police visited Jabalpur on August 4 and alongwith the team of MP police at Jabalpur searched the house were her last location was found on basis of the mobile phone location, the police said.
The police was further investigating the matter, he said.
