A man was arrested on Wednesday accused of raped his step-daughter and sodomised step-son in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
The eight year old girl was raped while ten year old boy was sodomised by the 35-year-old man, the police said.
The incident occured in the area falling in limits of the Tilwara police station of the district.
The man is booked for rape and sodomy and under particular section of POCSO Act, the police said.
The mother on returning home in the night on Monday noticed her daughter was bleeding and complaining of stomach pain, she took her to the government hospital for treatment, the police said.
