The Union government emphasis for promtion of solar rooftop in Madhya Pradesh.
Shashank Mishra, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India, told the need for public awareness to promote solar rooftop at Govindpura headquarters of Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company.
He told that common people have to be made aware to promote solar rooftop and make maximum use of solar energy.
Mishra said that along with the self-sufficiency of electricity from solar rooftop and the benefits to the environment, the general public will have to be made aware of it.
More and more people should use solar rooftop and reap the benefits of solar energy. During the meeting, Shashank Mishra reviewed the progress of solar development works being done in the area of Central Region Power Distribution Company. Departmental officers were present during this period.
