Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told officials that while continuing the work being done in Salkanpur by the grace of Mata Vijayasan, a new proposal can be presented on the lines of Shri Mahakal Lok, to allow devotees to have darshan of all Mata’s forms according to scriptures.
Chief Minister Chouhan gave these instructions to the officials in a review meeting of the construction and development works of the temple during a visit to Salkanpur temple complex on Friday.
Member of Parliament Ramakant Bhargava, Chairman of Salkanpur Trust Mahesh Upadhyay and members were present.
Presentation of the construction works being undertaken at present was also done in front of the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that discussions should be held with scholars, pundits and shastris, so that all work is done according to religion and law.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that his idea is that the darshan and story should be engraved on the walls in the form of pictures of 52 Shakti Peethas established across the country.
Similarly, all 6 sisters of Mata Vijayasan and nine forms of Mata should be mural paintings or painted in other artistic forms.
The Chief Minister said that the story of Durga Saptashati Mahatm can also be carved in the premises.
He asked to take special care that Vijayasena Mata should be worshipped as before.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that apart from making separate routes for the movement of devotees till the temple of Mata, efforts should be made to increase not only the number of devotees coming through ropeway but also increase the number of trips.
The Chief Minister directed that after compiling the information of the total area of construction to be undertaken in the entire campus, a new plan should be submitted in two-three weeks.
He said that the meeting would be held again in the last week of November. Directions were also given for the approach road etc. to Salkanpur. Officers including Principal Secretary and Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, IG, Forest, Culture, Public Works Department were present in the meeting.
