Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ordered to suspend and transfer Jhabua superintendent of police Arvind Tiwari after the audio clip surfaced on social media in which he heard abusing students studying in polytechnic college seeking police protection after group clash.
Chouhan took the cognizance on learning the matter, on Monday.
CM Chouhan said he got information that Tiwari had used abusive words against the students who called him.
Tiwari was suspended after his voice was verified by the higher officials and shifted him to the Police Headquarters, Bhopal.
In the audio clip, a student was heard urging Tiwari to provide security while describing a threat from another group of students. Tiwari was heard abusing the caller.
