The 1988 batch IAS officer Veera Rana gets additional charge of the chief secretary.
The Madhya Pradesh government has issued the orders to this regard.
Currently, Rana is chairman of the MP Board of Secondary Education Bhopal and holding additional charge of Commissioner Agriculture Production Madhya Pradesh.
The government’s decision came in wake of present chief secretary IS Bains is to retire on November 30, 2023 after he was given extension twice. Bains retired on November 30, 2022 but was given extension twice of six months each.
