Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a social revolution is taking place in Madhya Pradesh, in which women are becoming self-dependent and their respect in the family and society is increasing. While in the Livelihood Mission, the government is providing assistance to women organized as self-help groups for various economic activities, they will be given an amount of Rs 1000 per month from June 10, under schemes like Ladli Bahna. So far, 44 lakh 90 thousand daughters of the state have been made millionaires under the Ladli Laxmi Yojana.

Chief Minister Chouhan attended the Ladli Bahna Sammelan-cum-Chief Minister’s Residential Land Rights Scheme distribution ceremony at Sonkucch in Dewas district today. He dedicated and conducted bhoomi-pujan of development works costing about Rs 90 crore. Also, he distributed the Adhikar Patras of the Chief Minister’s Residential Land Rights Scheme and benefits of other schemes.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that there was injustice with daughters in Madhya Pradesh previously but they are now considered a boon. The government gets every poor girl married under the Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah / Nikah Yojana. The Chief Minister announced to increase the amount given so far under this scheme from Rs 49 thousand to Rs 51 thousand.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Ladli Bahna is not just a scheme but a sacred relationship between brother and sister. In Madhya Pradesh, sisters are being empowered in every field. Schemes like 50 percent reservation in local bodies, reservation in recruitment of police and teachers, exemption in stamp duty in property registry have empowered them. It is our endeavor to ensure that the income of each woman should be at least Rs.10,000 per month. The aim of my life is to bring smile on the faces of sisters. Forms of 2 lakh 80 thousand women have been filled in the Ladli Bahna Yojana in Dewas district. Ladli Bahna Sena is being formed in every village and ward to monitor the schemes related to sisters.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the Mukhya Mantri Janseva Abhiyan, camps are being organized in every village and ward, in which officers and people’s representatives are working for the people. Now no one will have to wander here and there to get their works done. Their work will be done in the camp of their village, ward. The Chief Minister said that since April 1, all the liquor vends have been closed in the state. He instructed the Superintendent of Police to strictly stop the sale of illegal liquor.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government has taken a resolution that no poor will remain without land in the state. Residential land pattas will be given to every poor and gradually the government will also build houses on them. Today, land pattas are being distributed to 1100 beneficiaries in Dewas district. Education has been made easy for every person in the state. The government also pays the fees for higher education of meritorious students. Medical and engineering education has also been started in the state in Hindi. Quality education is being imparted in the villages through CM Rise School. A provision of 5 percent reservation has been made in the medical colleges for the children studying in government schools in the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the area under irrigation is increasing rapidly in the state. Narmada water has been brought to Dewas district. Narmada water will also be brought soon to the 58 villages of the district where Narmada water has not yet reached. Under the Nal-Jal Yojana, water is being supplied to every house through a tap. Under the scheme, one lakh 30 thousand connections have been made in Dewas district. CM Chouhan instructed that physical verification of the works done under the scheme should be done necessarily.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that there will be no unemployment in the state. Every person will get work according to his efficiency. Along with training, earning opportunities are also being given to youths who have passed class twelve and received higher education. Along with learning, youth will be given an honorarium of Rs. 8 to 10 thousand per month in 700 identified areas under Mukhya Mantri Sikho-Kamao Yojana. About two-and-half lakh people are being linked with self-employment every month in the state. The process of recruitment for one lakh government posts is going on in the state, which will be completed by August 15. After this the recruitment will start again.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that in order to waive the amount of interest of such farmers who became defaulters due to the false announcement of loan waiver by the previous government, the government has formulated the Chief Minister Interest Waiver Scheme-2023, in which farmers’ interest is being waived off by filling the form in every district. About Rs 38 crore loan will be waived in Dewas district.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that many farmers have expressed their disagreement towards the land pooling scheme, hence it is being cancelled. The sale and purchase of related land will start again. Chief Minister Chouhan announced construction of a culvert in Tonkkala, connectivity of 52 villages, construction of a mini stadium. A mini stadium will also be built in Pipalrawan.

Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the program with the lighting of lamp near the picture of Maa Saraswati and the worship of girls. Sisters presented rakhi to Chief Minister Chouhan.
