Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan presented kits to hairdressers.
Chouhan said it is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh that Saint Sen Ji Maharaj was born in Bandhavgarh. The state government has arranged 2 acres of land and funds for his memorial. No stone will be left unturned for the construction of a grand memorial of Saint Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj.
This memorial will be developed as a centre of social harmony, Chouhan announced in the conference of Kesh Shilpis (hairdressers) at Bhopal on Thursday.
Chouhan welcomed the Kesh Shilpis by showering flowers on them. After the conference was over Chouhan had a meal with the Kesh Shilpis.
Historically, in the course of social development, the trust that the people of Sen community have earned for themselves is a great heritage of the community, he said.
Sen Samaj plays an important role in almost all our rituals, he said.
The society has presented an exemplary example of truth, non-violence, social harmony, kinship and service, he said.
He was addressing the conference of Kesh Shilpis (hairdressers) at Bhopal on Thursday.
The Sen community has always worked to connect family and society.
With the changing times, the traditional working methods of the community are also changing, he said.
The younger generation of the society is also getting ahead in other skills and professions, he said.
The state government will provide necessary facilities to the youths in adopting new techniques according to the changes coming in the methods of traditional work. Also, necessary guidance and support will be arranged for the youths who want to pursue further studies and who are willing to adopt other skills as a source of livelihood, he said.
The chief minister inaugurated the conference by lighting a traditional lamp and garlanding the picture of Saint Shiromani Sen ji Maharaj.

Chouhan gave a cheque of Rs. 10000 to Budhni’s Omprakash Sen, Santosh Kumar, Chiman Sen and Ritu Sen under the street vendor scheme to help them carry out work in modern methods and presented the kit of materials related to Kesh Shipi work.
