Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel inaugurated the newly constructed gymnasium for police personnel at Police Barrack at Raj Bhavan.
Patel obtained information regarding all the equipment installed in the gymnasium. He started the gym by walking on a treadmill, riding a recumbent bike and lifting dumbbells.
Principal Secretary to the Governor, Sanjeev Kumar Jha, Secretary, Tribal Cell, B.K. S. Jamod and other officers were present.
Mangubhai Patel was informed that the newly constructed gymnasium is fully air-conditioned. All exercise equipment and machines required for physical fitness were installed at a cost of about Rs.50 lakhs. Equipment installed in the gym includes a tread mill, cross trainer, recumbent bike, stretch machines, leg extensions, leg curls, inner outer thigh, seated-row and beetle rope.
