Five persons are arrested in Capri Gold Loan Bank, Gadarwara, in district Narsinghpur of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday.
Abhishek Dagar alias Shekhu (26) resident of Gururgram, Haryana and Vikrant Mehra alias Jeeva (28) resident of Charki Dadri, Haryana, Rohit Rathi (25) resident Delhi, Ramjeet Jat (23) resident of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh and Arjun Sharma (20) resident of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh were arrested, the police said.
Three accused have criminal background including Abhishek and Vikratn against whom case is registered with the police in Haryana while criminal case is registered against Ramjeet in Uttar Pradesh.
On February 8, 2023 around 2.45 pm at Capri Gold Loan Bank branch at Gadarwara in district Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh Rs. 3,52,000 were looted on gun point.
After the incident the accused fled in a white color car, the police said.
Capri Gold Loan Bank senior loan officer Sachin Jain made a complaint to the Gadarwara police station about the loot and the case was registered under section 392, 34 of IPC.
The CCTV footage of the road routes, toll plazas, petrol pumps the location of the car was traced and teams of cops was formed.
The teams of cops went to New Delhi, Gurugram (Haryana), Mathura and (Uttar Pradesh) in search of the accused persons but the accused persons were continuously changing their place, the police said.
The last location of the car was found in Gaurjhamar – Deori area where the team of cop intercepted the car and arrested the accused persons.
The police seized from accused, one pistol, two countrymade revolver, 38 round, Rs. 1.80 lakh and on interrogation they revealed of entered the bank and looted the amount on gun point, the police said.
