Investigation of recent tiger poaching case in Satpura Tiger Reserve Narmadapuram Churna area Dabra Beat is done by the team of officials of Satpura Tiger Reserve and STCF.
The investigation team is patrolling and questioning in the forest area, revenue area and villages. The cooperation of the local police is also being taken in this matter.
Deputy Director Satpura Tiger Reserve Narmadapuram, Superintendent Bori Sanctuary Itarsi and Range Officer Tawa Buffer immediately reached the spot and inspected the site.
The severed head and other parts of the tiger found have been seized.
The incident site has been investigated by the dog squad team of Satpura Tiger Reserve and Ratapani.
For this, some places of Dhansai village have been identified by the dog squad, which are being investigated.
Area Director Satpura Tiger Reserve Narmadapuram said that the dead tiger’s head was tested and measured by wildlife doctor Ratapani and hair and meat samples were sealed.
He said that the severed head and other samples have been sent to the Wildlife Forensic and Health Center, Jabalpur for testing.
