The Delhi Police crime branch arrested Samajwadi Party ex-MLA Kishore Samrite from Bhopal for alleged threat to blow up new building of Parliament.
Samrite allegedly threatened to blow up Parliament on September 30 if his demands were not met, the police said.
Samrite was arrested from his house in Kolar with prior information to the MP Police.
The Speaker’s office reportedly received a letter mentioning the condition of government schools, roads, policies, expenditure on schemes and farm laws.
Samrite was produced in a local court for transit remand to take to Delhi.
