Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said the cyber police authorities are instructed to prepare a list of financial firms lending loans through App and check whether they follow the guidelines of Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

He said the financial firms’ officials found violating the RBI guidelines or running business without following legal process will be put in the jail.

He was responding to a query over financial firms cheating the poor and middle class people lending loans through the App.

A family in Indore was reportedly found hanged in the house on preliminary investigation by the police was revealed the head of the family took loan from some financial firm through the App.

Mishra said ten road routes in the state are closed due to floods including Sheopur-Kota, Sheopur-Bara, Sopar-Swaimadhopur, Chanderi – Lalitpur, Videsha-Ashoknagar, Khurwai-Bina, Hoshangabad-Pirpariya, Hoshangabad-Harda  and Raisen – Sanchi.

For last 24 hours the rains have stopped and water is draining downstream was reason to close the routes, he said.
