Madhya Pradesh Congress media cell vice chairman Narendra Saluja joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Friday.
He was a close to former chief minister Kamal Nath, on Friday.
This development took place at a time when Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is crossing Madhya Pradesh.
Saluja said I took the decision to join the BJP after there was concern within the Sikh community over felicitation of Congress Chief Kamal Nath by the Sikh Community at Indore on November 8, reportedly Nath is facing allegations over connection with 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan welcomed Saluja in the BJP. Forest Minister Vijay Shah and state BJP’s media cell in-charge Lokendra Parashar were present on the occasion.
