MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the BJP government is using bulldozers to raze down the houses of criminals involved in crimes including those against girls and women.
He was addressing a gathering at Rewa on Thursday.
He said the government has removed encroachment from over 21000 acres land in various places in the state.
This land will be distributed to the poor, he said.
He reiterated that the reason for his appeal to elect the party’s mayor and majority of corporator is to ensure that development works are executed smoothly.
If the mayor is of Congress and corporators are in majority of BJP than there is possibility that execution of development work might stop due to difference of opinion in executing the work, he said.
Chouhan continued his tirade against Congress state chief Kamal Nath for discontinuing the Sambal Scheme that deprived large number of beneficiaries.
He said Nath disrespected government officers and employees.
