Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday urged the surpanchs and panchs of Samras Panchayats to ensure no FIR is registered in their village on petty issues.
They (surpanchs and panchs) must be alert and see no fight takes in the village on petty issue and if there is possibility of clash try to settle it within the village, he said.
The reason for my appeal is to save the wastage of hard earned tax money on the police mobility, he said.
The state government will give Rs. 5 lakh to the panchayat where the surpanch is elected unopposed, similarly for Rs. 15 lakh for panchayat where women are elected unopposed on post of surpanch and panch, the chief minister said.
He asked the elected representatives to prepare five year plan for their panchayat area where development works related to schools, anganwadis, roads, drains, panchayat office building, etc are considered.
