Preparations are going on extensively for the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan and Global Investors Summit to be held in Indore next January. In context of these preparations, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan interacted today with the enlightened citizens, representatives of business, industrial, religious and social organisations of Indore to make both the events grand and memorable.
CM Chouhan said that this is a glorious event not only for Indore but for the entire Madhya Pradesh and all of you should actively participate in it.
Referring to the events to be held in Indore, Chief Minister Chouhan said that four important programmes will be held here. These include important events like Pravasi Bhartiya Sammelan, Global Investors Summit, G-20 summit and Khelo India. He said that Indore has got a better opportunity for hospitality.
Seize this rare opportunity and leave such a memorable impression in the hearts of the guests with the arrangements and hospitality, which the people coming here can never forget. The CM said that I am sure that Indore will win the hearts of the world.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Indore is now not only my city but the dream city of the entire world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended invitation to visit the country’s cleanest city Indore in Indonesia. He said that the guests who are bringing laurels to the name of the country in the world are coming to Indore.
It is our duty that we do not leave any shortcoming in welcoming them.Our guest are dearer to us than life. ‘Atithi Devo Bhavah’ is our tradition. Make the event unforgettable according to this tradition.
Chief Minister Chouhan told the residents of Indore that this is your own event, be an active participant in it and show a better example of Indore’s culture, life-values and tradition to the world.
He said that administration, various organisations and institutions related to the event should review preparations at their respective levels every week. He urged that the guests should also be given the experience of the rural environment.
The Chief Minister welcomed the initiative of making the guests stay at homes in Indore and said that it is an innovative initiative. With this initiative, Indore will present a unique example to the world.
