Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed the ongoing preparations for the “School Chalen Hum Abhiyan” starting from July 17 and the Vikas Parv Yatras in Barwani and Rajgarh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also inquired about the ongoing activities for the Ladli Bahna Sammelan to be held in Sehore and the bhoomi pujan programme of Kukshi Micro Irrigation Project in Dhar district. Minister of State for School Education Inder Singh Parmar virtually attended the meeting held at the residence office Samatva Bhavan. Additional Chief Secretary Water Resources S.N. Mishra, Principal Secretary School Education Smt. Rashmi Arun Shami and officers of Women and Child Development Department were present in the meeting.
Ladli Bahna Sammelan in Ashta on July 15
On July 15, there will be a Ladli Bahna Sammelan at Mukherjee Maidan in Ashta district Sehore, along with this, programme of distribution of artificial limbs to the disabled and road-show will also be organized. About 379 disabled beneficiaries will be provided equipment as per their requirement.
Chief Minister Chouhan will release the Ladli Bahna Sena training booklet and also interact with the women of Livelihood Mission. Business organizations, social workers, representatives of various societies and women of Ladli Bahna Sena will participate in the road show starting from the Municipality Community Hall in Ashta.
The road show will also have exhibitions focusing on schemes, programmes and activities of various departments.
Bhoomi pujan of Kukshi Micro Irrigation Project on July 16
Chief Minister Chouhan will perform bhoomi pujan of Kukshi Micro Irrigation Project on July 16. One lakh 25 thousand farmers of 175 villages of Dhar district will be benefitted by this project costing about Rs 2200 crores and 75 thousand hectare area will be irrigated.
CM Chouhan will perform bhoomi pujan of the project at Meghnath Ghat Chandankhedi and interact with selected farmers and labourers.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the residents of the villages to be benefitted should also be invited for bhoomi pujan.
CM Chouhan will dedicate the Nagalwadi Micro Lift Irrigation Project in Barwani district on July 16 itself.
After reaching Barwani, he will participate in the Vikas Parv Yatra. CM Chouhan will also interact with tribal representatives and folk artists.
School Chalen Hum Abhiyan will start on 17th July
On July 17, Chief Minister Chouhan will inaugurate the School Chalen Hum Abhiyan 2023-24 from village Gulana of Shajapur and inaugurate the school building of CM Rise School Gulana. All schools and parent-teacher associations of the state will be connected virtually with this state-level programme.
With the aim of converting the ‘School Chalen Hum’ Abhiyan into a mass movement, ‘Meet the future’ programme will be held in all government schools from July 17 to 19.
In this, prominent people from different sectors of the society will guide the students.
Chief Minister Chouhan will participate in the road-show in Rajgarh on July 17 under the Vikas-Parv Yatra.
He will also communicate with various social representatives.
