Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there will be no shortage in promoting trade and industries. The industrial growth rate in the state is 24 percent. The state and the country have high hopes from the businessmen and industrialists. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the license of industry and trade will now be renewed for ten years. The Chief Minister was addressing the 7th Outstanding Award distribution and 44th annual convention of Federation of MP Chambers of Commerce-and Industries in Bhopal.

Chief Minister Chouhan honoured the traders, industrialists and organisations who have done excellent work in the field of trade and industry by presenting mementos. The President of Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Dr. Radhasaran Goswami and a large number of citizens associated with trade and industry were present in the programme.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the GSDP of Madhya Pradesh has increased from 71 thousand crores to 15 lakh crores. Madhya Pradesh is moving ahead at a faster pace than other states of the country. The per capita income in the state has increased from Rs 11 thousand to Rs one lakh 40 thousand. The budget of the state has increased from 21 thousand crores to 3 lakh 14 thousand crores. There has been a miracle of continuous increase in the growth rate in the field of agriculture.

Agricultural production has increased significantly. The production of electricity has increased from 2900 MW to 28 thousand MW. Works of development and progress are happening all around. We are moving forward in every field including employment and skill, irrigation, development of cities, drinking water, panchayat, rural development, energy, forest. May your contribution be better in fulfilling the infinite possibilities of taking the state forward. The fragrance of Basmati rice is in many countries of the world including Canada, America. Sharbati wheat is also exported. Farmers’ income is increasing. The business of the merchant friends runs when money comes to the farmers. Employment opportunities increase. Agricultural development means development of industries.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana has been made to strengthen the economic condition of sisters. Apart from this, to provide employment to the youth, the state government has started the Mukhyamantri Sikho-Kamao Yojana, which is an amaging scheme.

The Chief Minister said that work is being done at a fast pace to fulfill the dreams of taking the state forward.
