MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed Bhoomi-pujan of Government Medical Colleges in Balaghat, Dhar, Morena, Mandla and Bhind.
The cost of each medical college except for Mandla is Rs 268 crore. Government Medical College to be built in Mandla is worth Rs 249 crore 63 lakh.
It may be noted that in last one month the foundation stones of Khargone, Tikamgarh, Budhni and Sidhi Medical Colleges were laid.
Addressing the programe in Balaghat Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that along with establishing sports complex Tulsiram, Lalwarra and Barveli will be given Nagar Parishad status.
A new bus stand will also be built in Lalwarra. Lenge Dheni will be renamed as Tulsidham and Gohar Gondi will be renamed as Anandpur. We keep our promises.
The bhoomi pujan of the medical college building we had promised in Balaghat is taking place. There will be no shortage of money for public service and development.
‘Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the bhoomi-pujan programme of the Medical College to be built at a cost of Rs 268 crore in Balaghat.
On this occasion, he also virtually performed bhoomi-pujan of the medical colleges of Dhar, Morena, Bhind and Mandla. Bhoomi pujan of Law College was also performed in Balaghat.
Development in full swing in the state
Chief Minister Chouhan said that development is going on in full swing in the state. 5 lakh kilometers of roads have been built in the state.
Irrigation facilities have been provided in area of 45 lakh hectares. CM Rise Schools are being established for children. Amount for Laptops are being given to students who score 75 percent marks in class 12th.
Now students scoring 60 percent marks will also be given the same. Scooties will be given to three toppers of the school of their area.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that these facilities are being provided with the aim of encouraging students to do better in studies. He said that under the Mukhyamanrti Seekho Kamao Yojana, Rs 8,000 will be given as stipend. We are promoting self-employment. Efforts are being made to ensure that the youth get permanent employment after learning work.
Ladli Bahnas and farmers are getting the benefits of the schemes
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Rs 1250 is being given every month from this month onwards under Mukhya Mantri Ladli Behna Yojana. Further, this amount will be increased to Rs three thousand. Farmers are getting the benefits of Samman Nidhi and Crop Insurance Scheme.
Prime Minister Modi is giving Rs 6 thousand to the farmers, the state government is giving the same amount.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the landless will be made land owners by giving them pattas.
Under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Awas Yojana, houses will be given to those left out in the PM Awas Yojana. The state government will provide cooking gas for Rs 450 to the Ladli Bahnas and beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme. He said that we are running the government like a family. Together we will solve every problem.
